The City of Forrest City will begin trash pickup on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, weather and road conditions permitting. We will start with the Monday route (see map below).
We ask residents to please keep vehicles off the roads to allow garbage trucks to move safely and efficiently through neighborhoods.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we resume trash collection. Some areas are still in poor condition, and safety remains our top priority. Rising temperatures this week should help improve conditions.

The snow this week was absolutely beautiful. The view at the Multipurpose Center, with the lake completely covered in ice, was just stunning.

Citizens of Forrest City are advised to use extreme caution while driving. Standing water on roadways may freeze and create hazardous icy conditions, including black ice. Please reduce speed, remain alert, and travel only when necessary. Your cooperation is appreciated as we work to keep the community safe.
