The class teaches CPR skills including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen; use of an automated external defibrillator; and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction.

The City of Forrest City and Scenic Hill Solar announced construction was completed on two solar power plant sites in Forrest City. The two solar power plants capacity is large enough to produce almost 74% of the electricity for Forrest City government and municipal operations.
Forrest City Country Club 2 Man Scramble
Forrest City Country Club will host a 2 Man Scramble Golf Tournament May 25 and 26. Play starts at 1pm on Saturday and Sunday. Entry fee is $250 per team that includes practice round, shrimp boil dinner, Calcutta and will feature a Ducks Unlimited Silent Auction fundraiser! MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY
The Disabled Arkansas Veterans is providing transportation to area veterans from St. Francis County to the VA in Little Rock. The van will pick up veterans every Monday and Wednesday at the Shell station on Holiday Drive in Forrest City at 7:05 a.m. and the Love's truck stop in Palestine at around 7:10 a.m. To reserve a spot or get more information please call 870-932-1052.

A representative with Legal Aid of Arkansas will be at the FCPL on Tuesday, May 21st from 9:00 am until noon. Please call the library to make an appointment ahead of time @ 870-633-5646. This service is free of charge.
The ONE Razorback Roadshow set for an eight-city bus tour starting May 13.Forrest City was one of the stops where everyone gathered at Legacy restaurant on East Broadway for a lunch event. They presented Mayor Larry S. Bryant with a Razorback Street Sign.
