The I-55 bridge over the Mississippi River at West Memphis is scheduled to have daily northbound and southbound outside lane closures, with work continuing through Thursday, September 17.
The southbound outside lane will be closed Monday through Thursday each week from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The northbound outside lane will be closed Monday through Thursday each week from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Only one direction will be closed at a time, beginning with I-55 southbound.
Weather permitting, the closures will allow crews to perform a routine bridge inspection.

The St. Francis County Sheriff’s Department is warning area citizens to be aware of a phone scam that’s being reported in the county.
Sheriff’s officials report that local citizens have been receiving phone calls from scammers pretending to be county deputies, telling residents that they can get their relatives out of jail by paying money from their credit cards.
A spokesman for the Sheriff’s Office say that this is “definitely a scam”, adding that the Sheriff’s Department does not do business by phone.
Anyone receiving this type of call is asked to call the St. Francis County Sheriff’s Department at 870-633-2611.

Buster was running the neighborhood with his buddies when he was picked up by the ACO. His owner surrendered him. He is 1 1/2 years old and weighs 36 pounds.
